WE are delighted to announce that our plans to expand the production capacity of the shop has been approved, pending detailed legal documentation concerning the renovation of a second barn on the Farm Shop site at Calder Grove.
The plans include the new build of a production facility housing a new bakery and butchery preparation area, refrigeration and storage. This will enable us to increase the range of produce on offer, as well as increase shop floor space by utilising some of the existing bakery and butchery.
The secondary part of the planning concerns the conversion of a barn, that lies behind the shop, into a coffee shop/restaurant.
We anticipate that work will begin as soon as the final paperwork and legals are completed.
